CHAPPELL ROAN

CHAPPELL ROAN

Personal Project: Chappell Roan’s Tour for Upcoming Album, Damsels & Other Dangerous Things

As a huge fan of Chappell Roan, I thought it would be fun to challenge myself with some promotional design work inspired by her world. I’ve always loved how her fashion and visuals set the tone for her music, so I wanted to explore what that could look like in poster form.

I pulled a lot of inspiration from her designer and best friend, Ramisha Sattar, whose work with Chappell is always so bold and imaginative. While I definitely leaned into her influence, I also made sure to bring in my own style and perspective. It felt exciting to step into that creative space, almost as if I were getting to “be Ramisha” for a moment while still making it my own.

I ended up creating two promotional posters by compiling and layering images together to make designs that felt cohesive and matched the energy Chappell’s fashion has been conveying recently, as it is currently the biggest visual clue for her upcoming album. Additionally, I created a logo using the font Academy Engraved (presently used on her website as well). Before I started, I put together a mood board to set the tone, which really helped guide the direction and vibe of the final pieces (included below).

Each design was created using Photoshop and Illustrator. I combined sources from Ramisha herself (check out her website HERE!)

I created these designs with the intended audience in mind. As a fan myself, I already knew what the look would be. However, I wanted to ensure it was still cohesive with her album visuals (so far) as well as the released songs.
