LP & CD Design
This project gave me the experience of combining photography with typography, layout design, and packaging at different scales.
A key part of this assignment was exploring and problem-solving to create a professional and visually engaging presentation. My professor was looking for a result of professionalism, craft, creativity, and visual risk-taking.
To begin with, my album choices were purposeful. I chose albums that I knew top to bottom, and ones that I felt a very strong connection to. With this, I had a strong vision for what my final product could turn out to be.

This is the final version of the front cover. I wanted to focus a lot on the rays of light, hence why it is quite minimal. The font used here is ITC Avant Garde Gothic Pro.

This is the final version of the front cover of my CD. I wanted to focus on creating the glamorous feel of the album's title and contents. The font used is Mr. Darcy. The artist’s name font is Helvetica Neue.
